We now have a 55W 1 H7 & 1 H9 6000K H.I.D kit available with the latest Digital Ballast technology!

This kit is the brightest kit we have come across! The ballasts are rated at 55W instead of the standard 35W on previous Analogue HID kits. This extra power provides far more light than the 35W kits. 6000k is the colour temperature of bright daylight!

We have combined 1 H7 & 1 H9 ballast and bulb kit into a single economical package for Tiger 1050 & Daytona 675 owners.

Definition:

High intensity Discharge lighting is light from a plasma discharge rather than a filament. 
The system involves a combined igniter and ballast to start the light and maintain the current, and certain gases and metal salts to create the light. 

Overall the system uses less energy than halogen lighting, while producing 4 times more light per watt.  HID lights are sometimes referred to as Xenon bulbs, due to the presence of Xenon gas between the electrodes. 

High Intensity Discharge Lights do not have a filament.  Instead light is created from an electrical discharge between two electrodes in a micro-environment of xenon gas and metal halide salts.  The light is emitted by an electrically energized gas -- a plasma discharge -- formed and sustained between the two electrodes. 

Ultra Slim! Digital Technology is used in the manufacture of these Ballasts. They are only 13mm thick and much more stable than analogue ballasts. These are not just water proof! But submersible!

Recommended for all bikes except those using canbus wiring systems (e.g. most newer BMW bikes)
